In an attempt to ensure a single industry voice, NAPM has been involved in various industry committees dealing with issues of common interest:

• Marketing steering committee - responsible for development and implementation of the marketing code

• Consumer Protection Act working group - responsible for putting together single industry position on the consumer protection Act and motivation for exemption from certain provisions of the Act

• Industry Task Group (ITG) - responsible for interaction with the Medicines Control Council (MCC) on issues of common interest.
